Digg’s New Restrictions Suck!
I wonder how long digg things I need to look at a picture before I decide whether or not i want to digg it, bury it or just leave it alone. It appears its 1-2 minutes. I actually have a brain in my head and can make that decision on my own in about 2 seconds like I have been doing on digg for the past year. This new method is whack!

I love Digg, but I can’t spend 24 hours a day on it. I feel guilty submitting anything right now, since I can’t Digg.
I slept 8 hours, and get up, digg 15 articles, and I’m locked out again. This goes beyond ludicrous.
Do they really only want people on their site for 15 minutes? I thought the point was to keep us there for as long as possible?
Digg was my stress relief, it was fun, but now it’s ridiculous. It’s to the point that going there is a waste of time, since I see the same stories in my Google Reader, and if I can’t Digg, what’s the point?
I feel your pain =(

I agree, Louie, it only does take a couple of seconds to digg most images submitted to Digg, I also think that almost any image uploaded to Digg could be identified and classified with-in 5 or 6 seconds — even those 6 panel cartoons that we occasionally see on Digg should take no more than 10 or 15 seconds to study and enjoy.
So how do the people at Digg arrive at it taking 1 or 2 minutes to digg an image? Are they telling me that it takes them that length of time to be able to see the item and decide whether they like it or not? If so then I would like to go on record saying that I am happy that I don’t live in their neighborhoods for if it takes them that long to judge whether they want to digg a mere image — how long does it take them to realize a green light turned red or that funny looking thing at the corner is a stop sign?

I am not sure what all of you guys are talking about. I have been a Digg user since the very beginning and have never had these problems. If you say they are new - I use Digg every singe day. I Digg about 50 articles/pics/videos a day and have never had this problem. I even line all of the Digg pages up, read all the articles, and then Digg them all right away after reading all of them. So, I end up Digging one article after another right away, with no pauses in between. In this fashion I Digg all my articles, etc. in about two minutes. So, about 50 Diggs in two minutes without waiting… Not sure what you guys are doing that you are getting “locked out.”

You are seriously trying to say that the only reason you come to digg is to click the little green thumbs up?
